Delivery
Items will normally be sent by 1st class post in the UK and by airmail for overseas addresses. For larger orders, we will contact the customer to arrange a suitable delivery method. We reserve the right to use alternative methods, e.g. couriers. We will advise customers with larger orders to insure their purchases and will make an appropriate charge for this at cost. Customers may decide to forego insurance at their own risk.
Please allow two weeks for delivery within the UK and four weeks delivery for overseas addresses.
VAT, postage, packing and handling
All product prices quoted on the website for purchasers in the UK and Europe (the EC) include VAT at 17.5%. Prices for purchasers outside the UK and the EC include VAT at zero rate.
The VAT on your order is calculated at check-out on the total value of your order, including delivery charges.
Delivery charges (postage, packing and handling) will be added at check-out. Our delivery rates depend on the value and weight of the products ordered and the destination. These rates are based on standard UK Royal Mail shipping rates, with a small additional charge for packaging and handling. For simplicity we differentiate only between UK and European (EC)addresses and US and the rest of the world.
Website usage
Surprised Stare Games grants you a limited licence to access and make personal use of its website, but not to download (other than page caching) or modify it. This licence excludes any commercial use of this website or its contents. Orders
When you place an order to purchase products from Surprised Stare Games, we will email you to confirm receipt of your order and its contents. We will also confirm by email that we have despatched your order.
Pricing and availability
Prices are correct at the time of publication on the website. Prices may be varied by Surprised Stare Games at any time, but, subject to availability, we will provide the product(s) at the prices stated at the date and time of your order. If for any reason the product(s) in your order are no longer available, Surprised Stare Games will refund your payment and notify you by email within 5 working days.
We quote prices in both pounds sterling and US dollars, using a market rate published on the BBC's website on the day of publication. We will charge purchasers from the UK and Europe the pounds sterling rate. Other purchasers will be charged the US dollar rate.
Returns
If for any reason you are unhappy with a Surprised Stare Games product, you can return it to us in its origanal condition, unopened and with shrink-wrapping intact, within 30 days of the date you received it, and we will provide a full refund of the price you paid for the product. If you find that any components of our games are missing or damaged, please contact us by email; we undertake to supply replacement components at our expense; we reserve the right to ask for the return of the faulty product at our discretion prior to providing replacements.

Customs
When ordering goods for delivery overseas, you may be charged import duties and taxes, which are levied in the destination country. These charges must be paid by you, because we have no control over them and cannot find out in advance what they may be. For further details, please contact the local authorities in your country.
