Typically, the Captain's Reversal is played during the Challenge stage of your opponents turn, thereby covering all of his/her Threlms - this, if allowed to happen, prevents him/her from Robbing or utilising Threlm abilities.

This card becomes a potent tool when utilised in the Worcester Variation, where it allows you to pick a Peasant Threlm to press with one of the Winds (in the turn following the Reversal).
