Tony Boydell
Tony has been designing and developing games for quite a long time now,
injecting them with his infectious brand of humour and illustrating them
with his own very effective cartoon-style artwork. Tony designed Surprised
Stare Games' first game, Coppertwaddle and has followed this with Bloody
Legacy in 2004 and Scandaroon in 2007. He likes cold lasagne for breakfast,
collecting books and (of course) playing games. He wishes he had designed
GLORY TO ROME, and is working on a time machine in order to achieve this
dream.

Alan Paull
Alan is no stranger to game design and development, as his games Siege,
Thunderin' Guns and City of Sorcerers were published in
the Eighties. The Application Game, a role-play exercise for lower
sixth formers seeking to enter higher education, was published by the
Polytechnics Central Admissions System (PCAS) in 1990. He has written
numerous articles and game reviews for games magazines, including a solitaire
game Mindmeld. He also designed, developed and produced Starship
Tycoons, a trading board game set in space. Alan designed Tara,
Seat of Kings, SSG's first board game, and Confucius, our latest
opus. He's quite proud of the fact that the abbreviation for Tara, Seat
of Kings, TSOK, sounds like Taoiseach, the Irish Prime Minister.
